We are only as strong as we are united

THE INTERNATIONAL STATUTE OF TRANSPARENCY

"On this day, the thirteenth of June of the year two thousand and thirty four, in the spirit of honesty, safety and the equality of all mankind, the magical population and the non-magical population will no longer remain hidden from one another, but will be unified as one. Rather than withholding from one another, we today take a step toward a better future, as the union of two such extraordinary cultures and resources promises a betterment in quality of life for all. This statute applies to every living being that is capable of thinking and reasoning for itself. Either Discrimination or Deceptiveness in respect to the statute are both considered the highest form of noncompliance in all countries involved, and are punishable as treason. Every world leader, both magical and non-magical, have signed this statute in agreement that Transparency between the respective communities of the world is the best path toward knowledge and peace."

Artie

THE RUDE PREFECT VS THE STUBBORN 2ND YEAR

Artie instantly regretted what he said to the girl. Luckily it was her word against his. Prefect vs 2nd year. He sighed. He had to chase her. He attempted to call her name, but he didn't know her name. He really should know the names of all the students in his house, but he has more important things to think about. He knew she was Ravenclaw, so he headed back to the tower, in attempts to see her. 'All this for.....some 12 year old again.... seriously?'. He sighed and made himself comfortable. It could be a while for her to cool down and return to the common room, or she could be on her way back now. He had no idea, but he was hoping that it'd be sooner than later. Why was he wasting his time impressing this girl? He could get her expelled quicker than apparation, but he wasn't going to to that. He was reasonable, and he was hoping this girl was reasonable too. She'd probably not want to converse considering how rude "he" was. But in his defense she had been pretty rude also. But he should know better, should, should. It's hard when pretty much everyone is rude to him, its the norm for him.

Saryana frowned a bit as she watched the owl fly off. It wasn't from sorrow - she hated the guy and didn't care about him. However, she wasn't sure if she was acting maybe a bit childish. Going right to her parents with this... Was it really what she should have done? Nick did say that she often lost control when she got angry... At the last thought, Saryana groaned. Now wasn't the time to think of Nick, from everyone. Nick was an idiot who couldn't take her in as who she was. Though at least he was still a friend of hers and wasn't a jerk, unlike this guy. At least he wasn't off explaining that she is a manipulator and cruel and mean. But Nick was a great person who just didn't like lies.

Saryana bit her lip before she got herself to actually forgive the guy. She was supposed to be angry at him for the whole year, not to give in in the third month. Now, she should concentrate on hating this prefect guy... Saryana almost chocked when she realised that. He was a prefect, he said it himself! Holy shit, she had just yelled at a prefect... With reason, of course, but still. Even if he was the biggest jerk, he was still a prefect. Though the girl had no idea how he became one, actually. Jerks shouldn't have high positions lime that. Because they could simply use that position to harm on someone they didn't like. Which meant... Saryana paled. Could he possibly do anything against her? Not that he could do something harmful - she was as clean as soap, never disobeying one rule. But she needed to stay such and one warning for whatever could ruin everything.

Suddenly worried, Saryana decided to run quickly to her dorm and ask Mari what to do, if she was even there. Surely she would know what to do or at least someone she could ask for help. Surely she knew someone who could help... Her slow pace turning into a run, she made her way as fast as she could towards her dorm. For all she knew, the jerk might be thinking of a way to expel her! Of course, Saryana knew that wouldn't happen, her head teacher liked her and wouldn't want to see her leave. Or at least, Saryana thought so. Arriving at the door, the girl quickly entered and scrambled inside, hardly waiting for it to close. She didn't even notice that he was there, determined to get to her dorms. However, in her hurry, she decided it brilliant to trip over her feet. Her reflects were quick, so she quickly held onto a table but she forgot how light they were and tilted the table. With that, she herself fell and a few books nearest the edge did as well. She felt her face burn and she quickly stood up, putting the fallen books back on the table. "S-sorry about that..." she said, her voice trembling a bit from embarrassment.
